Mason Youth Council

The Mason Youth Council aims to bridge the gap between youth and local government. Members provide a youth perspective on current issues the Mason City Council is tackling and organize a youth event at the end of their term. Ultimately, this platform helps the youth build leadership skills that go beyond the classroom and empower students to be agents of change in their community.

Presented in collaboration with Mason Mayor Nelson, City Council Member Bennett, and MasonVotes.

Applications are closed for the 2024-2025 cycle.
